Dalby Architecture is an Architects Practice supporting residential and commercial projects within Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. As RIBA Chartered Architects and a Registered ARB Practice this website is our Portfolio to clarify our design philosophy and how we design buildings that inspire, innovate and invigorate clients and communities alike. We specialise in residential projects using imaginative design detailing & sensitive alterations to both Historic, Listed or Period as well as Modern buildings.
Our Portfolio shows how we adapt clients’ needs and aspirations, blending sustainability with aesthetics to create unique, enduring buildings. From individual house design, conversions of old or even derelict structures, each project is an opportunity to produce stunning design solutions.
We are happy to advise what is possible and practical when you are looking to reconfigure or extend your existing property, creating a new build or just considering purchasing a property. The design limitations vary between regional Planning Offices throughout East and West Sussex with a higher level of constraint should the property be with the SDNP, AONB or if it is a Grade 1 or 2 Listed property.
Sustainable Architecture is important to reduce energy consumption with design strategies such as Passive Design controlling natural light, ventilation and sunlight to regulate temperature to help reduce reliance on heating and cooling systems. Renewable energy sources are there to minimise reliance on fossil fuel with vapour permeable insulation for Listed Buildings and higher performance insulation for newer structures to maximise energy conservation. We prioritise innovative materials, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally friendly practices, helping to create carefully crafted buildings and interiors reflecting our committment to energy conservation.
Each project requires a clear brief of our clients’ needs and aspirations, allowing us to develop precise solutions from concept to final execution involving transparency and excellence in every phase. Whether you are looking to build your dream home, develop a business facility, or recast a public or private space, we are dedicated to your needs and as a smaller practice we do not delegate to less experienced staff.
